Visit PageThe Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) requires that individuals with disabilities are provided with full and equal access to their healthcare services and facilities. Yet, many individuals with disabilities face numerous and extensive access barriers when attempting to access even the most basic care. Nye, Stirling, Hale, Miller & Sweet LLP (“NSHMS”) understands the importance of equal access and provide education and resources for those who may have experienced violations of the ADA when attempting to access their healthcare.
NSHMS is a civil rights law firm that has been a national leader in disability rights litigation on behalf of individual and institutional clients. NSHMS currently represents the American Council of the Blind in two national class action cases against Quest Laboratories and LabCorp, respectively, for those companies’ failure to provide full and equal access to their services to individuals with vision disabilities.
During its long civil rights litigation history, NSHMS has represented hundreds of clients and distinguished itself for its ability to be solution-oriented and offer personal, one-on-one service.
